A Word, Mr. Slade..

"That sounds about right. Holding off blood lust for that long will cause insanity in just about any vampire. Shows how much will power you have."

Sipping his drink he would sit in the living room.

Syn would raise his eyebrow. What did Slade mean by that..? What other types of power could be unlocked?

"What do you mean..?"

"Your resolve to keep from changing. You wanted to stay yourself so you suppressed your transformation as long as you could. And on top of it you were able to hold it off far longer than others that i have seen"

For a split second Slade's mind would wander to painful past memories before he closed his eyes and took another sip.

It was easy to see that Slade had went through something in his past but Syn wouldn't push any information about that because he didn't want to be rude.

"Well. I had no idea that the length of resisting transformation had to do with one's strength.. do you have any other wise words of advice for me, Mr. Slade..?"

"I wouldn't call or little chat giving advice, but if anything keep this in mind...."

Placing his cup on the table he would stand and look Syn directly in the eyes.

"Never mistake strength for power, or power for strength. Otherwise prepare for defeat. Now of you'll excuse me I have a lot of work to catch up on."

With that he would politely gesture towards the door as he grabbed the glass with his concoction in the other hand.

Syn would stand and bow to show his respect. Syn would walk to the door and take his leave.

"Okay Mr. Slade. Have a great day. And thanks again."

"No problem Syn. Thank you for introducing yourself."

As Syn left Slade would make sure he was gone before he would walk back to his office. Sitting in his chair he would fold his hand in front of his face as he thought to himself:

"Vampires.... I was hoping I want going to have to deal with them anymore."

With a deep sigh he would open his drawer and pull out some blueprints. He knew he has a bit of work ahead of himself.
