The Return

Looming from within the shadows of the night, Shadow would make his nightly strolls around his kingdom with many things on his mind. What of the evil intentions lurking within..? He couldn't help but wonder of the things he could have done differently. Concentrating a small fraction of energy into the souls of his sneakers, Shadow would boldly step onto a large pool of acid and walk the diameter effortlessly and unscathed. Hands in his pockets, he would find himself staring upon the vast night sky. To the naked eye, virtually every star could be seen from the pools, but for Shadow, that wasn't the case. He could see everything and more. He has truly been blessed with gifts no other being possessed. Gazing beyond the Milky Way and through a handful of Nebula Clouds, Shadow would stare in silence. Suddenly, his eyes would avert from the sky and onto the pools themselves. There was something living and thriving beneath the surface of the acidic substances. Hmm..it seems that anything is indeed possible...

"..."

-= The liquid in which Shadow seemed to be staring into began to ripple with the effect of a flickering light bulb. Its uncontrollable consistency began to seem controlled, making the water ripple outward like a sonar radar. Until... CRACCKKKK!!!!!

In a split-second, lightning had boomed from the sky, connecting with the large puddle with a massless force. It was massless, but, the way the water scattered gave the assumption that the lightning strike held the weight of a thousand man's dead-weight. A droplet of this water would shock the shit out of Shadow, which seemed inevitable... But, they both knew that Shadow was full of surprises. =-

" You know... With all that untapped power you have, most would think that you'd be easy to find.- "

-= He was telling the truth, as he'd been looking for Shadow for some time now. Not even a flux of his aura could be found. It was mind-boggling. And now, he's resurfaced. Now, it was truly time to collect. =-

" -... Now that you're here, I think I'll collect that in which I've come to claim. I've come for the Senju. Hand him over. "

As the lightning struck the pools of acid, Shadow would hold back a smile as the millions of acidic droplets phased through him as if he were a hologram. Once again, utilizing his Kamui technique to the absolute fullest of its capabilities. Gazing over to Sevyn, Shadow would cross his arms and smile a wicked smile.

"If you couldn't find me.. You obviously weren't looking hard enough.."

As he was making his comment, Shadow would wave his arm slowly in a horizontal motion towards Sevyn. This motion, plus the severity of the darkness surrounding the area, it would be a subtle observation to say the least if he did notice it at all. Releasing a hand full of senbon needles and kunai, Shadow would lace his chakra through each projectile that was flying towards Sevyn.

"If that is what you're looking for, I'm not so sorry to tell you that that won't be happening. Might as well go home...while you still can.."

-= Hmm... That eye technique. The Uchiha all had some fairly impressive abilities on hand. The way the abilities were executed were flawless in their own dimension/rights... But, they did hold several other counterintuitive flaws. Those who heavily relied on their eyesight, really couldn't make time for conditioning their other senses. And those, are the buttons which Uchiha are susceptible.

It was such a pity that Sevyn knew what buttons to press. And now that his patience was being taken for granted, he could now capitalize on them.

Kyoushi work with me, will you?

On cue, the electrified liquid would be yanked from the ground back toward Sevyn's location in a wave of collected energy all around him. It was nice for him to flex his combative muscles. Hopefully, Shadow was up for a lesson in Shock Therapy... =-

" I Am So Glad You Have That Mindset!!! Hahahahah! "

-= With the waves of liquid-lightning energy coming in like a Tsuname wave towards Sevyn, both were showing signs of being in danger. Though, with a resounding and thunderous CLAP... Sevyn APPEARED amongst a powerfully manifested repulse of built up negative ions. This repulse of energy would knock the senbon and needles away with a rubber-like effect. The wave of liquid lightning colliding with the repulse of negative ions would cause a momentary jump in electrifying and frying capabilities.

But...

Once the two energies collide, they do their work and fizz out. That is when Sevyn breaks into action, ripping his katana, Kyoushi from his back whilst speeding toward Shadow with a Shoryuken-Sword Upswing... a swing capable in cleaving Shadow in two with the sheer weight of Kyoushi alone. =-

Little did Sevyn know, the energy that was enslaved into the projectiles wasn't just normal energy. It was negatively charged magnetic energy that was laced throughout the metal. Unfortunately for Shadow, this still had little to no affect on Sevyn. As Sevyn charged towards him, Shadow would unsheath his Soul Reflecter and counter the upwards slash with a downwards slash of his own. The rather peculiar ability of his Soul Reflecter was that it could take on a variety of different forms, depending on how much energy was put into it. In this case, little to none was put into the blade, giving it the properties of the Lightning Flame. This combat knife sized blade was hardened for battle so it couldn't be broken by any special means. With the recoil of the blades and the hand full of sparks that were created from the collision, Shadow would rapidly spike the amount of energy that was put into the Soul Reflecter (SR for short). Within the same horizontal counter swing, the SR would change from a hardened combat knife into an elongated single edged thin sword. With the sudden change in form, Sevyn would probably have a hard time reading the counter swing due to the sudden change in size.

"I'm glad that you think I am joking..."

Within the same horizontal swing of his blade, a flash of burning light would escape from the SR. It seemed that this blade had more to it then just changing shape. The flash of light would be directed towards Sevyn and it would have the capacity to sheer through the strongest of metals like it was warm butter. Sevyn should know by now that this wasn't the first time that they had fought each other. Shadow always keeps a database of the opponents he encounters and new stragities that he thinks would work best against them if he ever had to face them again. This time, he wouldn't be caught off guard by Sevyn unless he had something new to bring to the table.

-= See what I mean? Shadow was totally oblivious to his own liquid which had been embedded and heavily influenced by The Incredible Energy of Kyoushi. Shadow had totally fell victim to a trick only amateurs made, never turn your back on a potential threat without a backup plan. And now, the liquid-lightning energy, which was coming in hot behind him, would probably connect with his body and/or collide with the lightning senbon and Kunai which were repulsed by the positive charged lightning manifestated repulse, which would result in energy being transferred between the two conduits.

These two energies close the distance on Shadow pretty quickly, being that is the liquid-lightning was holding a positive charge, and the senbon and kunai held a negative charge. So in actuality, the two charges act in a way that they attract each other. Shadow would have been squeezed indefinitely by an incredible pressure, one capable of flattening his body to a thinner extreme. =-

(Now, I am not auto hitting you by any means, my posts have showed that. I just wanna make that clear.)

" You Uchiha... So Oblivious... Underestimate whomever you want, but do not...- "

-= Sevyn began to bellow at Shadow with a martyr's gaze. He wanted to fry him from the inside out. His lightning chakras cackled, spiraling up the perimeter of his body. The air was getting thick with a harsh animosity-like pressure. Sevyn's spiritual pressure was rising, and the atmosphere was showing it. Several crackling noises were sounding off. And it brought up a question, what exactly was happening?

Sevyn's forehead vein was throbbing, and now, he stood up straight. As he did, two dopplegangers appeared at each of his sides with a bolt of lightning. Shadow was about to learn a lesson in real pain. Sevyn had split his spiritual mind into three pieces. Breaking off his Dominant and Speedster subconscious from his mind to create two Dopplegangers. They body brought their blades forth to block the horizontal upswing from Shadow whilst adding a little lightning chakra to them so that they themselves didnt get cleaved through. Sevyn stood in the middle while raising Kyoushi to sheath behind his back. He had no smile on his face, but the other two... The Doppleganger to Sevyn's right was smiling a smug smile. This one seemed to be ripped in muscle tonality. And the others eyes were on Shadow glaring deep into his face. Their body language was seething, giving the notion that they were ready to wreak havoc. The real Sevyn raised his head and spoke, finally. =-

" -... Fucking underestimate me!!! "

-= His voice broke out all noise, and in synchronicity, The Doppleganger to Sevyn's left made a move with his foot and sped of at a speed not many people utilized anymore. He was moving fast, not nearly breaking the sound barriers, but he was definitely moving.

The real Sevyn grabbed the Doppleganger beside him and threw him over his back before hop stepping through random distances, avoiding the shinnint light just by the burning clothing he had just suffered through. The light was hot, it was a relief that he hadnt taken that hit straight on. He was trying to find the best direction to Shadow. He was in no rush, his Speedster Doppleganger would hash out all of the go-to's hopefully.

Speaking of which, The Speedster Doppleganger closed in on Shadow's space with his sword spinning around his hand at incalculable speeds ready to rip Shadow asunder. It was a wonder how Shadow could move. As the spinning sword got closer to Shadow, the core burst, allowing lightning out in a light form to surround and encrust The Speedster Doppleganger. =-

The look of boredom was in his eyes as the series of attacks unfolded. It was clear to Shadow that Sevyn truly did underestimate him and his prowess of illusions. All of this talk about being underestimated and yet he turns around and does the same to me..hmph.. The oncoming clone with the blade would tear through Shadow like it was nothing...because it was nothing. Putting up little to no fight at all, Shadow would appear in a dark cloud standing atop an adjacent pool with a single ripple gentlly flowing throughout the once tranquil pool of acid. In honesty, it was a shame to see that the large series of almost perfectly timed attacks fade away with the once ferocious power of the lightning elemental Sevyn. Crossing his arms, Shadow would chuckle. It seemed that Sevyn hasn't learned a thing since their last encounter.

"You're a pitty, Sevyn.. Don't you remember? What you see, isn't always reality..?

Turning away from Sevyn, Shadow (or what was projected as Shadow) would begin to walk away. This was pointless fighting and he didn't like people wasting his time. There was truly only one way to get what you want from Shadow. A deal. But alas, there wasn't anything that he wanted from Sevyn. Releasing the chakra that was infused into his SR and sheathing it back into his boot, Shadow would turn towards Sevyn and smile.

"Truth be told, I got rid of that Senju boy a while ago... But his essence was kept ever safe incase I ever did want to let you get the upper hand on me.. Right now, you and I are the same..in power at least. But with this vial of Senju DNA, everything would change. And that wouldn't be much fun, now would it? But I will tell you one thing, Sevyn.. What glitters, is never gold.

Turning once again, a bright green flash would omit from Shadow's feet each time he took a step. From Sevyn's POV, Shadow would be stepping onto thin air. He had mastered the Serū Flash Step.

"Until next time.."

With one final flash of green, this one much brighter than the others, Shadow would vanish.
