To the Rejikage's Office [Part 2]

As Shadow finally made his way to the doors that lead to Dente's office, he would pull his right hand from his long jet black cloak and knock. Waiting for a response, Shadow would continue to let thoughts through his head.

Hmmm... Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a friend that can match my strength..?

Then again...

Shadow's knock wouldn't warrant him an immediate response, rather, it took a few minutes before one of the doors slowly opened; the adviser to the Reijikage, Dente, Annabelle stood a good few feet away from Shadow. Her golden eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, her facial features looked soft to the touch, yet they gave off the chill of a iron maiden. Annabelle stood a few inches shorter than the man and had to look up at him.

"Welcome, how can I assist you?"

She'd ask with a slightly distant tone. There was a genuine welcome for sure, but she wasn't one for guests. Annabelle remembered to give a small curtsy and went to waiting for a response.

Shadow would raise his eyebrow. Looking around, Shadow would acknowledge Annabelle with shifty eyes. Noticing her sharp features, Shadow would smile gently. Putting both of his hands in his cloak, Shadow would exhale.

"I am looking for Dente, miss. Is that possible?"

"Tis possible indeed to see the Reijikage, but he is rather busy, so your meeting with him will have to be brief. Your name, village where you hail from, rank and reason for this visit are all needed before you enter the office."

She said in a monotone voice, playing with a strand of her golden locks as she waited for the requested information on the man. Annabelle desperately wanted to get back to work. Both she and Dente were busy people and the fact that the Urbe Saevitum was on the eve of opening its doors to trade and other commodities, there was much more important matters than surprise meetings from random shinobi or magician who are not from the village.

Shadow wasn't accustom to people telling him the things he had to do. Crossing his arms, he would get slightly annoyed.

"*sigh* Shadow Uchiha. Elysian Tsuchikage. My business is simply to speak with Dente.. I don't want to get annoyed, miss. Just let me enter, please."

He was surprised at himself. Since when did Shadow have manners..? He would rub the bridge of his nose. He was indeed getting annoyed. Maybe since this was such a hassle, he should just say 'fuck it!' and call this meeting off..?

"Speak for yourself."

She'd say sharply, opening the doors further and revealing the large oriental themed hall. The color scheme consisted of bright red and gold. There were many paintings on the walls, all in a sequential order. They had different warriors on there with a foreign language written near the footer of the painting. There were suits of armor that stood stiffly and still near each painting, seemingly guarding them. At the end of the hall stood a grand staircase heading towards a large pair of doors.

"Hurry and follow."

Annabelle said, turning her back and walking down the hall. Each step she took caused the clacking sound of her heels to echo throughout. The area was amazing quiet, but they'd soon reach the doors. They were adorned with wolf heads that seemed to growl and snarl towards the two. However, no they were merely ornaments. Annie knocked on the door and called after the kage.

"Master Dente. Shadow Uchiha, Elysian Tsuchikage wishes to speak with you. What for, I cannot say."

Minutes passed with no answer. However, the ground beneath them roared and trembled furiously in a threatening earthquake. Everything was okay, nonetheless, and the doors opened with a large boom. They revealed the large dark red war room within. A big war table, map of the entire Mylanian continent in the middle. Standing above it was Dente, the Reijikage. He was stroking his beard in thought, but was focused on the two at the same time.

"May I suggest that you end this meeting promptly? We have much to do and need to save the idle chitchat for elsewhere."

"Noted, Annabelle. Come and plan the next stages with me, while I speak with the kage."

Annie was there in seemingly a flash. She stood over the map and studied it intently. With her at his side, Dente turned towards Shadow and was seemingly glaring him down. In actuality he wasn't, that was merely his disposition. Hard set heterochromatic eyes, sculpted and strong features, and quite large for his age. The young boy seemingly towered over Shadow and he was quite a few feet away. Dente walked away from the table and stopped just a few feet from Shadow. He was even bigger at this distance.

Dente was wearing a regal, yet traditional looking robe. He wore gauntlets over his hands that were clouded with a dark red aura. His black hair was styled into a wild mane style, with the remainder of it tied into a ponytail. He had a beard that lined his jaw and was cleanly cut.

"Shadow Uchiha, Tsuchikage of Elysia. I am Dente Wolfheart, Reijikage of Urbe Saevitum. To what do I owe your presence?"

His voice was loud and booming, slightly shaking the ground beneath them. He'd meet Shadow with an outstretched hand to shake his own.
