Gonna Read til I drop!!

Saiya walked through the slightly crowded mall while humming to herself, her hands behind her back and her eyes darting each and every way. She was happy to be starting her journey, but she had hoped more stores would be open by then. There were still many signs that said coming soon, and the few stores that were open didn't really interest her.

"Dammit, Hot Topic and Zummies still aren't open either." She sighed and put her hands on her hips while standing in the middle of a four way area. Noticing a store she hadn't seen before on the second floor from her position, she instantly perked up. "Librarium? Isn't that supposed to be like Borders?"

Answering her own question, she jumped up to the second floor of the mall. Sure enough, the store's first floor looked like a Borders Book store, café and all. Looking up to the higher tiers of the store and it looked like an actual library. Floating candles lit the stores higher flowers and she could sense a silencing spell or jutsu being used from the third floor up. It was a good mix of ninjutsu and magic as well as modern technology and tradition.

"U-U-Um... W-Welcome!" Said a meek and seemingly eager voice from in front of the young woman. A small boy with dirty blonde hair, big brown eyes and a small smile on his face looked up at Saiya. He was wearing a semi-long robe with the sleeves bigger than his own arms.

"H-Hello! I am Pascal, Keeper of the First and Second Floors of Librarium. I am here to w-welcome all new comers and help them navigate the Librarium... Should the need arise. W-Would you like any assistance in finding whatever it is you're l-looking for?" Pascal asked shyly, playing with his fingers but not breaking eye contact between them. His pale cheeks started to turn pink.

Saiya's eyes lit up at the boy. "Oh wow! You're so little, but you're the Librarian here? You must be wicked smart!" The shining sparkles in her eyes somehow spread to the world around her as she imagined Pascal as a tall and handsome young man, wearing glasses over his sexy chocolate eyes and a book in hand. He had a mysterious neutral gaze towards the camera before pushing his glasses up on his face. Saiya probably wouldn't snap out of her day dream until he said something.

When she was done, she would smile and shake her head. "I'm not looking for anything specific, unless you have any manga about airships! I will probably come here a lot though to find the manuals on how to maintain airships too. OH! And if you have any model airship figurines, that would be awesome. I could also use some audio books on the history of airships." Saiya's finger found her chin as she began to think of all the things she would need even though she just said she wasn't looking for anything specific...

"O-O-Oh, u-um why thank you!" Pascal said rather shyly, his shade of pink turning a bright red. He hadn't been complimented on his smarts like that before, but it certainly was a very nice feeling to receive them. After that point, however, the girl seemed to have went into a sort of dream like state, that Pascal was quickly able to catch on to. He didn't know what she was thinking of, but he did chuckle a little and waited until she came through.

The girl eventually did and shook herself out of the day dream. That's when she started to state that she wanted manga on airships, manuals on the machines and model figurines. Pascal pressed a few fingers to his lips and gently nibbled on them. "Hm, let me see."

The first floor had nothing but video, electronics, comics and other pop-culture themed books. The more technical and engineering themed books lied atop the second floor and on the third floor would be manga. "W-Well... On the second floor you can find manuals and books related to the engineering and construction aspects of airships. The manga is found on the third floor and your model ships could probably be found there, however, I don't believe there are any finished models on display. Maybe there are kits that you can use to build your own?"

Saiya suddenly had on a pair of glasses with all of the aforementioned books and items in her hands.

"I'm ready to check out!" She called happily. Her arms were stacked with books and manga as well as two airship model kits at the top. An audio book on the history of airships was nestled beneath her arms and a pair of headphones were around her neck.

Pascal had barely turned around to go get a directory for her and was startled by her sudden outburst. Turning around, the young boy saw that and his jaw immediately dropped. "U-U-Um...! How did you do that so fast?" He asked, playing with his fingers at an even faster rate. Was she some sort of demon? A time hopper? The probable answers further made the young boy question if she had done anything to tamper with his perception of reality.

"W-Well... Since we're already at the desk, I can check you out right here. N-Not like that, I mean, I mean like check out your items and stuff..." He bit his lip a bit harder. Why did he just blurt that out? Maybe due to his nervousness perhaps. The young boy quickly ran over to the other side of the counter and held his hands out for Saiya's stuff.

Saiya didn't answer Pascal's first question and continued smiling at him with the cutest and happiest smile she had. As he made his comment about checking her out, she was too busy daydreaming about airships. The typical oblivious anime girl.

"Hm, you say something?" She asked as she set all of the items on the counter. She was only borrowing them...yeah, borrowing. Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehcough. The devil that appeared in her shadow suddenly coughed and burst into smoke. "Can I get a library card please? I don't really have any money to buy all this right now."

She batted her eyes at Pascal, her smile never leaving.

"N-Nothing! I didn't say a thing!" He announced quite nervously, quickly rolling up the sleeves on his robe, he started to tend to her items, but just before he did, both he and Saiya had a same thought. Pascal rummaged through one of the drawers behind the desk and pulled out an application for it. Bringing out a feather-pen, Pascal started to quickly write and sign things on the app. After doing so, he turned it around and handed Saiya the pen.

"H-Here, sign this, this and this. After, place both of your thumbs on the end of the application." Pascal couldn't really break eye contact nor could he stop from blushing at her smile. Out of all the things that really radiated with her, that smile had to be one of the most beautiful features on her. A sudden thought like that caused him to day dream.

He imagined he and the young woman going to an ice-cream shop in the mall and sharing a sundae with each other. Pascal would then take her to one of the more quieter rooms of the Librarium and help her out with studying on the airships or help in building the models. His eyes glistened and a wide smile went across his lips.

Saiya began to sign everything without reading it, hoping to just get to a nice quiet place to start reading her eyes out. After signing all the documents, she looked up at Pascal, noticing the dream like gaze on his face. It made her blush just a bit as she thought about her daydream from before. She shook the thought away and giggled as airships slowly took the forefront of her mind again.

"So is there anything else?" She asked with a happy chirp.

Just like Saiya, Pascal shook his head free of all cutsie thoughts, took Saiya's filled out application and started to process it. "Yes, the model ships you won't be able to just borrow. You'll need to actually pay for those, but just for you... Erm... I'll give them to you for free. Just don't tell anyone, okay!?" He said in a very hushed, yet desperate tone.

He started to ring everything up for her soon after and handed her the library card, but before everything was handed over, Pascal's facial expression darkened and he looked Saiya dead in the eyes. "You must remember to never damage, never lose or never steal the books you have just checked out." His eyes darted side to side and he leaned in closer. "He Who Watches knows of you, now that you have signed the application and if anything extreme were to happen to his logic, he'd have you...." Pascal shivered and shook his head. "J-Just take care of the books, okay?" He asked with a forced smile.

"Sure whatever, BYE!" Saiya was already halfway out the door of the Librarium before Pascal finished speaking. She had the headphones on already and a sheer wave of happiness radiated around her. In her haste, she had forgotten to take her library card. Not that she would notice anytime soon, having over a weeks worth of information on Air Ships.

"W-W-Wait!" Pascal tried shouting at the young woman. He had noticed that she had forgotten her library card, that'd be real bad because then she wouldn't be able to return or check out any new books. The young librarian was just about ready to leave off after her, when he noticed had to straighten up a few papers. His OCD was getting to him after all of that.

After a miscellaneous moment of straightening out papers and the like, Pascal picked up the forgotten library card and dashed toward the doorway. He stopped, however, and turned back to face the rest of the library. "I'll be back you two! Watch the first two areas while I'm away!" He'd announce, huffing and running in the direction that the young maiden had taken off in.
