- The Necromancer:
History: She was an innocent young woman back when she was "alive." Full of life, potential, dreams, and other aspects that made a person, a person. A prodigal magician who studied extensively in the magical arts, showing much promise in the subject. Her family had promoted her growth further and inspired her to go farther with her learning, to go and explore the world. A goal in mind was to find the lost knowledge of the planet, through whatever recorded means. Be it books, wall-paintings, ancient guardians, or whatever method old, magical knowledge was recorded. If there was a will, there was a way and the young woman inspired to find it all.
Around her late twenties, the woman had barely scratched the surface of things. Learning the secrets of the world she traveled little by little, the woman had grown a lot more knowledgeable, powerful, but thirst for more. Each question answered only raised more and more, with every adventure needing her to grow ever more stronger. Though, with more strength and learning... Came a darkness. A darkness she had willingly tapped into and with that, came something which only furthered her potential.
Most people wouldn’t have accepted the darkness so easily, so foolishly, but this woman had. Fear gripped her heart, tore away at her very soul, due to the venom that was the darkness. The very thing that had wanted to bring her into the void, had instead knelt before her. The denizens of dark spoke her name, "Holly."
The history grows fuzzy from there. Many say she died at the hands of some heroes, other say she disappeared into the night, never to be seen. Her fate wasn’t known and those who knew of her, didn’t dare speak her name. Many magicians wanted her history, discoveries, and feats wiped out from the annals of magic. Most agreed, while others tried to preserve what good she did do, by crediting her works to others, or just not mentioning her entirely.
However, in the back of everyone's mind, there was a sense of foreboding...
