Story:
Born into the Wolfgang family-line, Shadow could be considered the first child. Howevever, being born into the old style ways of assassinations, her entire identity had to be wiped clean from the records. Julia Wolfgang no longer existed, instead a hunter who killed under a strict code of stealth. "Shadow", was to be her new name, but her mother and father always called her by her real name as to avoid her becoming a completely soulless woman. Her parents doing just that kept her from losing her sense of "humanity" making her show emotion only around family members. Anyone else would get a blank face, void of emotion, and cold.
Doing her job well, Shadow was granted privileges outside of her village. Able to become a hired assassin to anyone who could pay and not have attention drawn to her clan, Shadow persisted and persevered. Earning a name among her fellow villagers and the outside world, Shadow was becoming more and more feared throughout the land as a brutal assassin. Some part if not all, enjoyed the thrill of it all. She enjoyed being so close to the enemy's main force, silently taking them out one after the other until she finally faces the main boss down herself. The fear in their eyes as they rely so heavily on cheap tricks and bribes to try to stop her. These actions made it all the better when she slit their throats, broke their necks, or killed them beyond all recognition.
Shadow kept herself under control. She always drew the line between assassin and murderer, understanding that she still required honor before ever killing her target. A prayer she says before and after she kills, to give the target some sort of respect. Shadow always believed that in order to live your life fully, you must enjoy what you do, and you must do what you enjoy. This philosophy, along with support from her family, brought her far.
She was older sister to twin younger brothers, both of which shared a rivalry for each other so long even before their births. Shadow interfered most of the time when they were children, beating them herself, or simply binding them to walls. Despite all the conflict and lack of emotion between her brothers, she deeply loved them. When they became older, however, all of it stopped. She had to let them grow and realize their own mistakes, not spoon feed them their rights or wrongs. After the three parted ways with their own journeys, much of Shadow's life became shadowed in the very thing she welcomed. Her clan wanted to declare her dead, but the Elder decided that missing in action would be a better status for someone of her caliber.
In actuality, Julia had left the continent of her homeland, to seek better risk and reward missions. Learning of her nephew's recent success on the far away continent of Mylania, Julia realized that there was something there of worth after all. Given that, she felt the presence of her younger brother enter the realm once more and his presence lead to her destination.
